Apple is known for its minimalistic yet striking designs. The iconic design of all the Apple Store has resulted from Apple’s partnerships. What is surprising, though, is the fact that Apple incorporates its iconic design into all of its retail Apple Stores and this makes for some rather awe-inspiring buildings. Apple has received numerous architectural awards for its store designs.
New York, USA (5th Avenue)
A ominous glass cube with a hanging Apple logo invites you to enter it and see what mysteries lies beneath it. This is an Apple Store in Manhattan. The actual store with all its iGadgets is underground.
Ginza, Japan
Another Apple Store that looks absolutely dazing in its simply beauty is situated in Ginza, Tokyo. Ginza is considered to be one of the most luxurious shopping districts in the world.
Carrousel du Louvre, France
This is one of the flagship Apple Stores. Situated in France’s captial Paris, The Carrousel du Louvre store is a stunning piece of architecture. Fans of Apple and architecture must surely visit this.
Sydney, Australia
The Apple Store in Sydney is the 2nd largest Apple Store in the world. It also holds the record (among Apple Stores) for having the largest logo and the longest Genius Bar where customers can receive technical advice for their Apple products.
London, UK
This is the largest Apple Store in the world. Its architecture is inspired by England’s very own buildings. It is located at 235 Regent Street in London.
San Francisco, USA
Situated at Union Street in America’s 12th most populous city, this is one of Apple’s most popular Stores in America.
Montreal, Canada
One of Apple’s smaller Stores (at least when compared to the ones in NY, Boston and Sydney), this store is situated in Downtown Montreal.
Chicago, USA
Situated at 679 N Michigan Avenue in Chicago, this Apple Store is another example of Apple’s expertise at design.
New York, USA (Upper West Side)
There are five Apple Stores in New York. The one mentioned at the top is located at 5th Avenue while the Store shown below in located at Upper West Side. This is, by far, my favorite Apple Store. I loved it when I saw how beautiful it looked from the inside.
Boston, USA
Situated at 815 Boylston Street in Boston is the largest Apple Store in the United States.
